Winter 2008

A series of lithographs inspired by Herman Meville's, Moby-Dick.

This work investigates the psychological quality of the ocean's surface: the haunting subconscious of the deep, the human experience drifting upon it, and the narrative current that surges through them both.

These stone, aluminum, and smart-plate lithographic prints were created during a six week intensive introduction to lithography.
